Cabinet Drafter (Remote - PH-Based)

## About the Role As a Cabinet Drafter at Remote VA, you will be responsible for designing and programming custom cabinetry using specialized software. Your work will be crucial in ensuring that the production team has accurate drawings and CNC data to work with, and that all designs are fabrication-ready. You will be working closely with project managers and designers to ensure design accuracy and optimize material usage. The role entails a deep understanding of cabinet manufacturing programming and the ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings. You will be expected to generate technical drawings and CNC data for production, as well as revise drawings based on feedback from the production team. In this role, you will be working remotely from the Philippines, with a schedule that follows Eastern Standard Time (EST). ## What You Will Do - Draft and program custom cabinetry using Mozaik, Cabinet Vision, or similar design software - Collaborate with project managers and designers to ensure design accuracy - Generate technical drawings and CNC data for production - Optimize material usage and ensure all designs are fabrication-ready - Revise drawings based on feedback from the production team - Prepare cutlists and CNC programs - Work independently with minimal supervision to meet deadlines - Communicate effectively with the production team to ensure smooth production workflow - Stay up-to-date with the latest design software and technologies

## What We Are Looking For - At least 2 years of experience in cabinet drafting or woodworking programming - Strong background in Mozaik, Cabinet Vision, or similar design software - Familiarity with cabinet manufacturing and CNC machinery - Strong understanding of cabinet fabrication processes and machine programming - Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy - Strong communication and organizational skills - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

## Nice to Have - Experience with other design software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks - Knowledge of woodworking and cabinetry principles - Experience with CNC machinery and programming - Certification in cabinet drafting or a related field
