About the Role
As a Calypso Developer at PradeepIT, you will be an integral part of the company's mission to deliver cutting-edge solutions to its global client base. Your day-to-day tasks will involve working with the latest versions of Calypso, leveraging your expertise in Java and Calypso APIs to develop and customize solutions that meet the evolving needs of the financial sector. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure seamless integration of Calypso applications.PradeepIT's commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction means that you will be working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. The role reports to the Senior Technical Lead and involves collaborating with other developers, QA engineers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions within tight deadlines.
What You Will Do
- Develop and customize Calypso applications for global financial institutions
- Utilize Java and Calypso APIs to create new features and functionalities
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs
- Work with the QA team to identify and resolve defects in the Calypso applications
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for Calypso applications
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner
- Develop and implement automated testing scripts for Calypso applications
- Stay up-to-date with the latest versions of Calypso and recommend updates to the existing infrastructure
What We Are Looking For
- At least 4 years of experience in Calypso development and customization
- Strong foundation in Java and Calypso architecture
- Experience with Calypso APIs and ability to develop custom applications
- Good understanding of financial markets and products
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new challenges
- Experience with agile methodologies and version control systems
- Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and DevOps practices
Nice to Have
- Experience with other programming languages such as Python or C++
