About the Role
The Capital Markets Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the growth and development of Capchase's financing solutions. As a key member of the Capital Markets team, you will be responsible for managing domestic and international credit facilities, maintaining relationships with capital markets professionals, and driving risk-adjusted returns. You will work closely with the Head of Finance and Capital Markets to develop and implement strategies for investor communications and fundraising.In this fast-paced environment, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of experts and contribute to the development of cutting-edge financing solutions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing funding requests, waterfall distribution, and exception requests, as well as maintaining and creating new relationships with capital markets professionals.
As a key member of the team, you will be expected to stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and to build strong relationships with investors and other stakeholders. You will also be responsible for creating and enhancing streamlined processes, supporting senior management on business presentations and investor relations, and coordinating monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles with Finance colleagues.
What You Will Do
- Manage domestic and international credit facilities, including funding requests, waterfall distribution, and exception requests
- Maintain and create new relationships with capital markets professionals, including support for senior management on business presentations and investor relations
- Create and enhance streamlined processes, including balance sheet assets and increasing cash efficiency
- Support and run presentations, analysis, and transactional legal documents for new asset-backed facilities, asset sale transactions, asset pool credit ratings, and securitization transactions
- Support bank relationships, bank account maintenance, and opening/closing accounts
- Report on portfolio performance, including identifying and raising greater income and lower risk opportunities, facility pledging, and maximized balance sheet efficiency
- Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles with Finance colleagues to manage multiple legal entities, money movements, and asset allocation strategies
- Cross-collaborate with other internal functions to help structure and develop new products and features
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's financing solutions and the capital markets landscape
What We Are Looking For
- BA/BS degree in economics, finance, business administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of prior experience at an investment bank, asset manager, credit fund, lender, or other relevant financial services industry
- Proven track record of managing complex capital stacks and driving risk-adjusted returns
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with investors and other stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and develop creative solutions
- Experience with Adjust and Excel, or similar tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
Nice to Have
- Experience with fintech or financial services, particularly in the areas of equipment financing or payment processing
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards, such as GAAP or IFRS
- Experience with project management tools and software, such as Asana or Trello
