About the Role

As a Caramel Dealer Account Executive at eBay, you will play a pivotal role in the company's nationwide dealer base expansion and product strategic enhancements. You will be part of a fast-growing auto tech company that empowers independent dealers with great F&I partners, streamlined administrative tasks, and a process that allows them to transact with consumers safely and profitably across the US.

The Caramel platform is designed to revolutionize the car sale process for independent dealers and private party car sales. Many independent dealers struggle to access the nation's best tools to complete their sales, and Caramel changes all of that by providing auto experts to help them confidently complete their sales.

You will work closely with the auto experts and leadership team to enhance dealerships' ability to transact safely and profitably across the U.S. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of passionate thinkers, innovators, and dreamers who are committed to pushing boundaries and leaving their mark as they reinvent the future of ecommerce for enthusiasts.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and cultivate new business relationships with independent dealers nationwide
  • Manage sales and training for dealers, guiding them through each stage of a car sale via Caramel
  • Enhance dealers' sales efficiency and ensure a smooth transaction experience
  • Encourage increased sales volume and ensure compliance with process requirements
  • Partner with senior leadership to maximize territory goals and repeat business
  • Demonstrate Caramel's products through expert online or on-site presentations, highlighting value and ease of use
  • Participate in strategic enhancements of Caramel's products, contributing to personal development and overall company success
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and expansion
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement

What We Are Looking For

  • At least 3 years of experience in sales and business growth, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Strong track record in sales and business growth, with a proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies
  • Automotive experience, preferably in auto finance or a related field
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM software
  • Exceptional communication and relationship skills, with the ability to interact with and influence individuals at all levels
  • Organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and thrive in a high-pressure, home-office environment
  • Travel flexibility, with the willingness and ability to travel as needed
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with strong academic performance and the ability to obtain a state motor vehicle salesperson license if required

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the automotive industry, preferably in a dealership or automotive finance setting
  • Knowledge of the automotive sales process and the challenges faced by independent dealers
  • Experience with sales and training, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
