## About the Role The Career Coach - AI Trainer role at Mercor is a unique opportunity for professionals with a passion for career development and AI to make a meaningful impact. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive career development plans, creating personalized study tasks, and designing interview prep materials that cater to diverse learning needs. In this role, you will have the opportunity to leverage your expertise in AI training to develop innovative solutions that enhance career outcomes. ## What You Will Do - Develop and implement comprehensive career development plans that align with individual goals and objectives - Create personalized study tasks, interview prep materials, and competency lists that cater to diverse learning needs - Design and implement AI-powered career development tools that enhance career outcomes - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify skill gaps, develop competency lists, and create customized learning pathways - Evaluate the effectiveness of career development plans and tools, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement - Develop and maintain expertise in ATS-optimized resume writing, LinkedIn optimization, and interview prep frameworks - Provide coaching and guidance to individuals on career development, resume writing, and interview preparation - Create and deliver training programs, workshops, and webinars on career development topics - Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including hiring managers, recruiters, and career counseling professionals - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in AI, career development, and education, and apply this knowledge to improve career development plans and tools
## What We Are Looking For - 3+ years of experience in career coaching, resume writing, tutoring, instructional design, or a related field - Expertise in ATS-optimized resume writing, LinkedIn optimization, and interview prep frameworks (STAR, CARL) - Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, and their applications in career development - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely - Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Experience with digital tools and platforms, including learning management systems, career development software, and social media platforms - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate data and make data-driven recommendations - Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment, with minimal supervision
