Caseworker – Nursing & Clinics

About the Role

The role is part of a larger team that is responsible for delivering high-quality services to clients in the healthcare industry. You will be working in a fast-paced environment that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask.

What You Will Do

• Coordinate referral services, including data entry, collaboration with nursing staff, and scheduling appointments
• Provide training to nurses and other stakeholders on specific clinical trial protocols and lab testing procedures
• Coordinate clinical trials, including study nurse approvals, nurse travel proposals, and study supplies/equipment
• Schedule and confirm visits, and provide visit data to all relevant parties in a timely manner
• Handle day-to-day activities in collaboration with team members, including tracking and reporting issues
• Act as a resource for Field Nurses, providing remote clinical guidance on clinical trial standard operating procedures and protocols
• Coordinate lab testing services, including remote nurse lab test guidance and ensuring all lab information is updated and available to Field Nurses
• Participate in post-services reporting and billing activities
• Collaborate with Senior Managers and accounting/BI teams to ensure adherence to company processes

What We Are Looking For

• Broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, or computer sciences
• A minimum of one year of experience in customer service, preferably in the healthcare industry
• Comfortable with client-facing interactions, including communication with physicians, research coordinators/nurses, and laboratory managers
• Experience with clinical trials and/or laboratory services, or medical field experience such as roles such as medical secretary, LPN/RPN, trial coordinator, or PV experience
• Bilingual (French/English)
• Ability to multitask and strong attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical and mathematical skills
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook

Nice to Have

• Experience working with pharmaceutical companies or in the medical and pharmaceutical field
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices and trial protocol adherence
• Experience with remote clinical guidance and support
• Certification in a related field, such as clinical research or medical administration
