About the Role
As a Casino Technician at MSC Cruises, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art casino. Your expertise will guarantee that every slot machine and gaming device operates flawlessly, providing our guests with a thrilling and fair gaming experience. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting gaming and accounting equipment, working closely with the Casino Manager and other departments to achieve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.The casino is a highlight of our onboard entertainment, and your role is essential to maintaining a vibrant and dynamic gaming environment. What You Will Do
- Install, maintain, and repair slot machines and electronic gaming equipment
- Troubleshoot technical issues and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with the Casino Manager and other departments to achieve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction
- Ensure adherence to all safety and compliance regulations, including responsible gaming practices
- Work effectively in a dynamic, multicultural environment onboard a cruise ship
- Provide technical support and training to other casino staff as needed
- Monitor and report any technical issues or concerns to the Casino Manager
- Participate in the development and implementation of new gaming technologies and initiatives
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and technical issues
What We Are Looking For
- Relevant technical qualifications in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Casino Technician, either onboard a cruise line or in a land-based casino
- Strong knowledge of slot machines, gaming equipment, and electronic accounting systems
- Experience working with various gaming manufacturers and platforms
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with a focus on delivering superior service
- Fluency in English (oral and written) to communicate effectively with the casino team, guests, and regulatory personnel
- In-depth understanding of slot machine mechanics, troubleshooting techniques, and gaming software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues
