What You Will Do

  • Investigate, evaluate, and resolve property claims resulting from catastrophes, natural disasters, and large-scale events
  • Conduct on-site inspections, estimate damages, and prepare detailed reports
  • Provide clear, empathetic communication to policyholders throughout the claims process
  • Partner with claims teams and external resources to deliver fair and timely resolutions
  • Represent Erie Insurance in a professional and courteous manner
  • Travel to catastrophe sites and field inspections across the operating footprint
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of insurance policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies

What We Are Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in property claims adjustment or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of insurance policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to travel regionally, with a valid driver's license
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree preferred
