## About the Role The CDM Tech Lead role at Edgewater Federal Solutions is a unique opportunity for a skilled cybersecurity professional to make a meaningful impact in the industry. As a key member of the team, you will provide subject matter expertise in support of a federal cybersecurity program, ensuring the successful deployment, reporting, and alignment of Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) capabilities across the enterprise. You will work closely with federal stakeholders, including the CDM team, to ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity frameworks and regulations.

The role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, including asset management, identity and access management, network protection, and data security. You will be responsible for providing leadership to technical teams in the deployment, configuration, and integration of CDM tools, as well as developing and maintaining CDM processes, procedures, and supporting documentation.

## What You Will Do - Provide subject matter expertise in support of a federal cybersecurity program - Ensure successful deployment, reporting, and alignment of CDM capabilities across the enterprise - Liaise with federal stakeholders, including the CDM team, to ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity frameworks and regulations - Provide leadership to technical teams in the deployment, configuration, and integration of CDM tools - Develop and maintain CDM processes, procedures, and supporting documentation - Conduct training and knowledge transfer on CDM capabilities - Deploy, configure, and manage CDM tools and services for asset discovery, vulnerability scanning, endpoint detection, and configuration management - Integrate data from CDM tools into dashboards to identify security gaps, analyze trends, and generate metrics for reporting and compliance - Analyze system and vulnerability data to identify security gaps, assess risks, and develop strategies for mitigation

## What We Are Looking For - BS in Computer Science, Information Management, Cyber Security, or related field - 8 years of general experience, with a minimum of 5 years of experience utilizing the following tools: - Hardware Asset Management (HWAM) ForeScout CounterACT - Tenable Nessus Network Monitor - Armis - Qualys Global AssetView - Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) inventory management - Software Asset Management (SWAM) BDNA Technopedia / Flexera - ServiceNow Software Asset Management Module - Qualys Asset Inventory - BigFix Inventory (IBM) - Symantec IT Management Suite Vulnerability Management (VUL) Tenable Nessus / Tenable.io - Qualys Vulnerability Management (VMDR) - Rapid7 InsightVM - McAfee Vulnerability Manager - OpenVAS (Greenbone) - Relevant experience with the Elastic Stack, the CDM dashboard, and data integration - Robust background in network security - Demonstrable credentials to reflect knowledge, skills, and experience - CISSP certification - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

## Nice to Have - Experience working in a fast-paced, remote environment - Knowledge of federal cybersecurity frameworks and regulations - Experience with cloud-based security solutions - Certification in a related field, such as CompTIA Security+ or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
