About the Role
As a Central Relationship Manager - Squad Lead at Allica Bank, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of remotely managed SMEs, with a focus on building strong relationships and understanding the unique needs of each business. You will also be responsible for line managing a small team of Central Relationship Managers, providing guidance and support to help them succeed in their roles. You will be working as part of a distributed team, with regular virtual meetings and collaboration to ensure alignment and shared goals. Your ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and prioritize tasks will be essential in this role.
What You Will Do
- Manage a portfolio of remotely managed SMEs, building strong relationships and understanding their unique needs
- Provide line management and guidance to a small team of Central Relationship Managers
- Develop and implement strategies to support the growth and success of Allica Bank's SME client base
- Proactively manage credit risk, identifying opportunities to grow the portfolio and minimize risk
- Work closely with business owners to understand their plans and ambitions, providing support through secured lending, current accounts, and deposit facilities
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell bank products and services
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the SME market, including trends, challenges, and opportunities
- Collaborate with other teams, such as credit risk and product development, to ensure alignment and shared goals
- Manage your own objectives and personal development plan, prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively
