What You Will Do
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and complex service diagnosis on solar energy systems
- Organize, lead, and maintain the warranty and service schedule
- Work with the Electrical Foreman, Construction Supervisor, and Branch Manager to allocate labor resources
- Assist with training and development for Field Service Technicians and Field Communications Technicians
- Lead regular meetings to align and train the local field service team on best practices
- Support the on-boarding and training of new members of the field performance team
- Conduct site audits and inspections as assigned
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of previous field construction experience, with at least 1 year of experience as a service technician in the solar industry
- High School diploma required, degree in a related field preferred
- Valid state or local Electrical Journeyman license required
- Knowledge of the NEC and applicable codes and standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven track record of excellent customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel
- Electrical/PV Installation Knowledge, including working knowledge of current NEC codes
Nice to Have
- PV design or PV electrical experience
- Experience with solar energy systems, including installation and maintenance
- Knowledge of construction principles and practices
- Certification in a related field, such as NABCEP
