About the Role
The Channel Partner Manager role at Ramp is a critical position that will help drive the company's growth through the development and execution of strategic reseller partnerships. As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, acquiring, and managing net new reseller partners to fuel Ramp's go-to-market engine. With a focus on building strong relationships and driving revenue growth, this role is ideal for a skilled and ambitious professional looking to make a real impact in the fintech space.The role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, growth, direct sales, and product engineering, to drive co-marketing opportunities, onboard new clients, and inform the product roadmap. As a channel partner manager, the successful candidate will be expected to become an expert in Ramp's product, features, and workflows, and to articulate the value proposition to reseller partners and their customers.

What You Will Do
- Source, qualify, and conduct deep discovery with net new reseller partners to identify opportunities for growth and partnership
- Sign partners and create comprehensive go-to-market plans to drive revenue growth and customer acquisition
- Drive revenue for Ramp through generating client referrals from reseller firms and identifying new business opportunities
- Identify and build relationships with multiple stakeholders within a reseller partner, including sales, marketing, and technical teams
- Educate resellers on Ramp's offering and articulate the value proposition to their customers
- Hold monthly and quarterly business reviews with key partners to review performance, discuss challenges, and identify opportunities for growth
- Work cross-functionally across marketing, growth, direct sales, and product engineering to drive co-marketing opportunities, onboard new clients, and inform the product roadmap
- Become an expert in Ramp's product, features, and workflows, and stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments
- Develop and execute strategies to optimize partner performance, including providing training and support to reseller partners
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimization
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 7 years of work experience, with a minimum 3 years of experience in partner sales, business development, partnership management, or channel partnerships
- Strong discovery skills, with a knack for identifying pain points and consultative selling
- History as a top performer, regularly exceeding targets and quotas
- Dedication to tracking and improving performance and efficiency on a daily basis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent listening skills
- Bias for action and strong desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment
- Strong cross-functional collaborator who can build relationships across the company
- Experience with GTM strategies and reseller partnerships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and market trends
Nice to Have
- Prior experience partnering with resellers in a consulting, sales, or partnerships capacity
- Background in direct sales, with a strong understanding of sales principles and practices
- Experience with fintech or payment systems, with a strong understanding of the industry and its trends
- Certification in sales or marketing, such as HubSpot or Salesforce
