About the Role

The Channel Partner Manager role at Ramp is a critical component of the company's go-to-market strategy, focusing on building and maintaining strong relationships with reseller partners. As an early member of the team, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of Ramp's reseller channel and drive exponential growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in partner sales, business development, or channel partnerships, with a strong understanding of the financial technology industry.

Day-to-day, you will be responsible for sourcing and qualifying new reseller partners, conducting deep discovery to understand their needs, and creating comprehensive go-to-market plans. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, growth, direct sales, and product engineering, to drive co-marketing opportunities, onboard new clients, and inform the product roadmap.

What You Will Do

  • Source, qualify, and conduct deep discovery with net new reseller partners to identify potential opportunities
  • Sign partners and create comprehensive GTM plans to drive revenue growth
  • Drive revenue for Ramp through generating client referrals from reseller firms
  • Identify and build relationships with multiple stakeholders within a reseller partner
  • Educate resellers on Ramp's offering and articulate the value props
  • Hold monthly and quarterly business reviews with key partners
  • Work cross-functionally across marketing, growth, direct sales, and product & engineering to drive co-marketing opportunities
  • Onboard new clients and inform the product roadmap
  • Become an expert in Ramp's product, features, and workflows
  • Track and improve performance and efficiency on a daily basis

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 7 years of work experience with a minimum 3 years of experience in Partner Sales, Business Development, Partnership Management, or Channel Partnerships
  • Strong discovery skills, with a knack for identifying pain points and consultative selling
  • History as a top performer, regularly exceeding targets and quotas
  • Dedication to tracking and improving performance and efficiency on a daily basis
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent listening skills
  • Bias for action and strong desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator who can build relationships across the company
  • Proficiency in Excel and GTM tools

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience partnering with resellers in a consulting, sales, or partnerships capacity
  • Background in direct sales
  • Experience working in the financial technology industry
