Job Description
About the Role
The Channel Sales Director for South Europe will play a crucial role in driving the company's indirect sales strategy and business development in the region. This will involve building and executing a growth plan, managing a team of Partner Business Managers, and developing strategic partnerships with key stakeholders. The successful candidate will report directly to the VP of Channels for EMEA and will be responsible for driving incremental growth and ensuring that partners are enabled and primed for success.As a leader in the company, the Channel Sales Director will be expected to display a strong ability to manage key stakeholders, drive collaboration, and align with the regional sales strategy. The role will also involve working closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to drive business outcomes and achieve sales targets.
The Channel Sales Director will be responsible for managing a team of Partner Business Managers across multiple countries in the region. This will involve providing coaching, guidance, and support to help them achieve their sales targets and develop their skills and expertise. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy, including identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key partners, and driving revenue growth.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the South Europe region
- Manage a team of Partner Business Managers and provide coaching, guidance, and support to help them achieve their sales targets
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including partners, distributors, and customers
- Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships and sales initiatives
- Develop and manage a pipeline of potential partners and customers, and work to convert them into sales opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to drive business outcomes and achieve sales targets
- Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management, and work to achieve or exceed sales targets
- Develop and manage a budget for sales initiatives and partner development, and work to maximize ROI
- Identify and mitigate risks to the sales strategy, and develop contingency plans to address any issues that may arise
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the tech industry
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and developing strategic partnerships
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in managing teams and developing talent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and develop strategic plans
- Experience with Salesforce and other sales tools and technologies
- Strong knowledge of the South Europe market and the tech industry, with a deep understanding of the competitive landscape
- Fluency in English, with additional languages a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
Nice to Have
- Experience with GTM and Excel
- Knowledge of the cyber resilience and data protection industry
- Experience working with partners and distributors in the South Europe region
- Certification in sales or business development, such as a CRM or sales methodology certification
