About the Role
The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Caiz will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company's marketing strategy, particularly focusing on crypto and blockchain solutions within the Islamic finance sector. This role entails leading a team of marketing professionals to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention. The CMO will report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and customer support.The day-to-day responsibilities of the CMO will include analyzing market trends, competitors, and customer needs to inform marketing strategies. This will involve leveraging tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush to monitor campaign performance and website traffic, as well as utilizing HubSpot for lead generation and management. A strong understanding of Islamic finance principles and the ability to navigate the regulatory landscape of blockchain and crypto will be essential.

What You Will Do
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve business objectives, including brand positioning, lead generation, and customer engagement.
- Lead and manage a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluation.
- Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including blog posts, social media content, email campaigns, and press releases.
- Collaborate with the product development team to launch new products and features, ensuring marketing strategies align with product roadmaps.
- Manage and optimize the marketing budget to ensure maximum ROI, tracking expenses and negotiating contracts with vendors.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and industry influencers.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing trends, technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to continuously improve marketing strategies.
- Work closely with the sales team to develop targeted marketing campaigns and support sales Enablement.
- Represent Caiz at industry conferences, events, and webinars, promoting the company's vision and products.
What We Are Looking For
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in the fintech, crypto, or blockchain industry.
- Strong background in digital marketing, including expertise in SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and content marketing.
- Proven track record of success in leading cross-functional teams and managing budgets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Experience with marketing automation tools, such as HubSpot, and analytics platforms like Google Analytics and SEMrush.
- Strong understanding of Islamic finance principles and the regulatory environment surrounding blockchain and crypto.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA is highly preferred.
- Certification in digital marketing or a related field is a plus.
