Job Description

About the Role

The Chief of Staff role at Bjak is a senior execution position that will drive the company's finance super app expansion across products, markets, and teams. As a key member of the leadership team, you will align leadership, drive operating cadence, solve cross-functional problems, and turn strategy into measurable progress. Your day-to-day will involve coordinating major workstreams, preparing decision memos, and identifying gaps, risks, and dependencies before they become serious blockers.

The role will require you to work closely with founders, CEOs, leadership teams, and senior external stakeholders. You will need to be comfortable operating in ambiguity with limited guidance and be able to go from high-level strategy to detailed execution without losing quality. The team context is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on innovation and growth.

Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for driving strategic execution across finance super app priorities. Your ability to build and manage operating rhythm, OKRs, leadership updates, decision tracking, and accountability will be crucial to the success of the role.

What You Will Do

  • Drive strategic execution across finance super app priorities
  • Build and manage operating rhythm, OKRs, leadership updates, decision tracking, and accountability
  • Coordinate major workstreams across product, engineering, licensing, market expansion, partnerships, finance, and operations
  • Prepare concise decision memos, board/leadership materials, execution plans, and performance reviews
  • Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies before they become serious blockers
  • Help leadership make sharper trade-offs on people, capital, product, and market priorities
  • Own special projects that require senior judgement and cross-functional authority
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including founders, CEOs, and senior external stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying this knowledge to drive growth and innovation

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong writing, business analysis, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in startups, consulting, strategy, operations, fintech, financial services, or regional expansion is a strong advantage
  • Strong Excel skills and experience
