The Principal Product Manager role is critical to Decircle's success, as it requires a deep understanding of the company's infrastructure, including USDC, a blockchain-based dollar. The ability to harness breakthroughs and capitalize on the major turning point in the evolution of money and technology is essential for driving growth and innovation.

What You Will Do

• Design and scale a modular, extensible risk platform that supports crypto- and traditional financial rails, as well as risk-related use cases across onboarding, account linking, and other customer lifecycle events
• Define and implement observability strategies to ensure risk platform integrity, including monitoring performance, validating critical flows, and surfacing key risk indicators to inform prioritization and executive decision-making
• Evolve Circle's travel rule platform to ensure jurisdictional coverage, interoperability, and seamless integration with internal systems and partner networks
• Leverage AI/ML to automate risk decisioning and operational processes, leading feature/context engineering, model development, evaluation/monitoring frameworks
• Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation of platform design, functionality, and dependencies to ensure internal transparency and audit readiness
• Translate regulatory requirements and business needs into clear product requirements, insights, and user stories for engineering execution
• Represent the risk platform and its capabilities to internal stakeholders, including product, engineering, and executive teams
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including compliance, legal, and business leaders
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to ensure the risk platform remains competitive and compliant

What We Are Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on risk management, compliance, and financial technology
• Proven track record of designing and scaling complex risk platforms that support multiple payment rails and regulatory requirements
• Strong technical fluency, with experience in AI/ML, data science, and engineering
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders
• Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards, including AML/KYC, travel rules, and data protection
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop insights
• Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure, and containerization using Docker
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Nice to Have

• Experience with blockchain technology and cryptocurrency
• Knowledge of machine learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins or CircleCI
• Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
• Certification in product management, such as CSPO or AIPMM
