The Claims Resolution Adjuster II role at Allstate is a remote position that requires a unique blend of investigative, communication, and negotiation skills. What You Will Do
- Investigate automobile accidents involving single or multiple vehicles, resulting in property damage and/or bodily injury
- Assess coverage, liability, and damages to determine the extent of the company's responsibility
- Provide exceptional customer service through various channels, including voice calls, email, and text messages
- Engage in negotiation processes to reach fair injury settlements with all parties involved
- Utilize innovative platforms and tools to efficiently handle claims and communicate with customers
- Lead with empathy and compassion when interacting with customers, ensuring that their needs are met and their concerns are addressed
- Confidently and independently investigate casualty claims, performing detailed reviews of damage and interpreting policies to determine coverage
- Incorporate a specific approach to claim handling, offering customers their preferred method of communication to discuss their claim needs and keep them updated on the claim progress
- Evaluate and negotiate claims settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants, in accordance with all legal and business standard methodologies
- Utilize multiple tools, including estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms, to get the job done in a fast-paced environment
- Protect the company financially by executing policies along policy agreements and keeping clear records of your work in a claims system
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation is completed as you work on each claim
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of claims adjusting experience, with a focus on determining liability and investigating accidents
- Claims investigation and negotiation experience, with a strong understanding of liability, coverage, and damages
- Proficient communication skills, especially over the phone, to establish rapport and assess claims accurately
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to evaluate and negotiate injury claims successfully
- Experience with liability investigations, investigating coverage, property damage coverage, and rental and resolving liability
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with a dedicated workspace and minimal distractions
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple claims simultaneously
- Proficiency in using innovative platforms and tools to efficiently handle claims and communicate with customers
