What You Will Do

• Investigate automobile accidents involving single or multiple vehicles, resulting in property damage and/or bodily injury
• Assess coverage, liability, and damages to determine the extent of the company's responsibility
• Provide exceptional customer service through various channels, including voice calls, email, and text messages
• Engage in negotiation processes to reach fair injury settlements with all parties involved
• Utilize innovative platforms and tools to efficiently handle claims and communicate with customers
• Lead with empathy and compassion when interacting with customers, ensuring that their needs are met and their concerns are addressed
• Confidently and independently investigate casualty claims, performing detailed reviews of damage and interpreting policies to determine coverage
• Incorporate a specific approach to claim handling, offering customers their preferred method of communication to discuss their claim needs and keep them updated on the claim progress
• Evaluate and negotiate claims settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants, in accordance with all legal and business standard methodologies
• Utilize multiple tools, including estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms, to get the job done in a fast-paced environment
• Protect the company financially by executing policies along policy agreements and keeping clear records of your work in a claims system
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation is completed as you work on each claim

What We Are Looking For

• 2+ years of claims adjusting experience, with a focus on determining liability and investigating accidents
• Claims investigation and negotiation experience, with a strong understanding of liability, coverage, and damages
• Proficient communication skills, especially over the phone, to establish rapport and assess claims accurately
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to evaluate and negotiate injury claims successfully
• Experience with liability investigations, investigating coverage, property damage coverage, and rental and resolving liability
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with a dedicated workspace and minimal distractions
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple claims simultaneously
• Proficiency in using innovative platforms and tools to efficiently handle claims and communicate with customers

Nice to Have

• Experience with claims systems and software, including estimate tools and settlement platforms
• Knowledge of insurance laws and regulations, with a strong understanding of policy agreements and coverage
• Certification as a claims adjuster, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development
