About the Role
As a cleaner with ABM Industries, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of various facilities, utilizing your digital skills to optimize the cleaning process. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include ensuring all areas are clean and tidy, adhering to health and safety protocols, and collaborating with the facilities team to address any issues. What You Will Do
- Clean and maintain facilities, including floors, surfaces, and equipment
- Utilize digital tools to optimize the cleaning process and improve efficiency
- Collaborate with the facilities team to address any issues or concerns
- Adhere to health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the facilities team
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
- Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored
- Assist with special events and projects as needed
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and clients
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience in a cleaning or facilities role
- Basic digital skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with digital cleaning tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certification in a relevant field (e.g., cleaning, facilities management) preferred
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
