About the Role

The Client Billing Account Manager role at Natera is a critical position that involves building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal teams to ensure efficient revenue cycle management. This remote role requires a high level of organization, analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. As a key liaison, the account manager will work closely with sales, finance, and customer support teams to resolve billing issues, improve processes, and ensure timely payment.

The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include managing assigned client billing accounts, identifying and resolving issues, and following up on outstanding balances. The account manager will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely invoicing, and will provide weekly updates on outstanding balances and deliver monthly summary reports.

What You Will Do

  • Manage assigned client billing accounts by reviewing outstanding balances and identifying issues
  • Communicate with clients via phone, email, and video conferencing to address unpaid invoices and resolve billing inquiries or disputes
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing delays, missing data, and case rejections
  • Build strong relationships with clients and cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and support accurate billing
  • Provide weekly updates on outstanding balances and deliver monthly summary reports with detailed notes for each past-due client
  • Lead regular meetings to review performance metrics, identify process gaps, and drive improvement initiatives
  • Analyze billing trends, identify recurring issues, and implement targeted process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and privacy regulations while working with protected health information
  • Support revenue cycle initiatives by recommending optimized workflows and implementation strategies
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in billing, accounting, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and privacy regulations
  • Experience with electronic health records and billing systems
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, accounting, or healthcare administration
  • Certification in medical billing or a related field (optional)
