The Client Financial Services Coordinator plays a vital role in maintaining positive relationships with clients by effectively communicating and resolving financial matters. As a key member of the VCA Animal Hospitals team, this position requires a deep understanding of financial services and a commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a wide range of financial tasks, from processing payments to resolving account discrepancies, all while providing top-notch service to clients.Day-to-day responsibilities will include communicating with clients via phone and email to address payment issues, resolving account discrepancies, and processing financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial services, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

What You Will Do
- Communicate with clients via phone and email to address payment issues and resolve account discrepancies
- Process financial transactions, including payments and refunds
- Resolve account discrepancies and troubleshoot payment issues
- Provide exceptional client service, responding to client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with hospital teams to provide financial information and support
- Educate associates and clients on business standards for wellness plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and financial transactions
- Utilize various collections techniques to negotiate and secure payment on accounts
- Document calls and resolutions using all appropriate systems, ensuring consistency in service
- Assist hospital teams with wellness plan and non-wellness plan financial information
What We Are Looking For
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- One year of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or financial services environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Strong client contact handling skills and active listening skills
- Proficiency in Excel and other financial software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
