About the Role

The Clinical Data Manager II or Senior Clinical Data Manager position at Precision for Medicine is a pivotal role that oversees all aspects of clinical trial data management, from study start-up to post-database lock for assigned projects. This involves adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), regulatory directives, and study-specific plans. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and ensuring the quality of clinical trial data, a critical component of the drug development process.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include overseeing database development and testing, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and managing the data entry process. This role requires strong leadership skills, as the Clinical Data Manager II will act as the primary contact for assigned clinical projects, ensuring continuity and responsiveness.

The ideal candidate will be part of a dynamic team and may be required to support other Lead Data Managers as a backup or team member. This position also involves data management oversight of sponsor programs, emphasizing the need for strong organizational and communication skills.

What You Will Do

  • Manage all aspects of clinical trial data management for assigned projects, adhering to SOPs, WI, and regulatory directives.
  • Oversee database development and testing to ensure high-quality data management systems.
  • Act as the primary Data Management contact for assigned clinical projects, ensuring back-up, continuity, and responsiveness.
  • Develop and implement data entry guidelines, conduct training, and oversee data entry quality and resourcing.
  • Perform quality control of data entry to maintain data integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Stay updated with the latest regulatory directives and incorporate these into data management practices.
  • Provide data management support for sponsor programs, ensuring compliance and quality.
  • Participate in the development and review of study-specific data management plans and guidelines.

What We Are Looking For

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical data management or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial protocols, regulatory requirements, and data management principles.
  • Proficiency in database management systems and data analysis tools.
