This position is responsible for managing all administrative activities surrounding hospital-based clinical, coding, and diagnosis-related grouping denials. The specialist will conduct comprehensive reviews of patient medical records, validate clinical relevance, assess DRG accuracy, and identify discrepancies between documentation and billed charges. As part of a dynamic team, the Clinical Denial Specialist will collaborate with clinical, coding, revenue cycle, and educational stakeholders to support ongoing process improvement and enhance organizational compliance and documentation quality.
