About the Role
The Clinical Ops Specialist role at Syneos Health is a vital part of the company's efforts to accelerate customer success in the biopharmaceutical industry. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing clinical operations, supporting projects, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality results. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing expertise in assigned solutions, and providing exceptional customer support.Your expertise in Excel will be essential in this role, as you will be responsible for running and disseminating routine reports, updating reports based on business feedback, and providing reviews of changes and updates to data. You will also be involved in training efforts for internal and external customers, developing and maintaining training materials, and ensuring user understanding and proficiency.

What You Will Do
- Develop knowledge of assigned solutions, understanding capabilities, underlying data, and reporting capabilities
- Respond to customer support inquiries in a timely manner, utilizing effective customer-oriented communication skills
- Participate in and support new projects, including understanding requirements, process considerations, and collaborating on requested solutions
- Run and disseminate routine reports, updating reports based on business feedback or enhancement requests
- Review and respond to requests for ad hoc metrics or reporting requests
- Develop dashboards or customized queries in support of specific reporting requests, partnering with senior team members as needed
- Deliver prompt and efficient user support, investigating and resolving reported data discrepancies and issues
- Collaborate with higher support tiers or senior team members to address complex technical or data-related issues
- Participate in training efforts for internal and external customers, developing and maintaining training materials
- Respond to Service Desk tickets, keeping users and support tickets updated with troubleshooting details and ongoing research progress
What We Are Looking For
- BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer-oriented communication skills, with ability to respond to inquiries in a timely manner
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience in clinical operations or a related field is an asset
