About the Role

The Closing Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the origination process, ensuring that all aspects of the loan closing process are meticulously coordinated. This position demands strong communication and customer service skills, as the coordinator will be the primary point of contact for clients, borrowers, and external agencies. What You Will Do

  • Review Work In Progress reports to ensure all tasks are completed on time
  • Prepare closing documents according to state requirements and client instructions
  • Review Title Commitments for clearance and address any issues that arise
  • Secure lender approval of loan closing documents
  • Communicate professionally and in a timely manner with clients, borrowers, agents, and internal staff
  • Maintain open communication with team members and the team leader
  • Confirm closing dates, locations, documentation, and funds due at closing with borrowers
  • Address inquiries from clients, borrowers, agents, and internal staff promptly and professionally
  • Meet deadlines and specific time frames for loan closing processes
  • Utilize Excel for data management and reporting
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve high-quality standards in all aspects of the loan closing process

What We Are Looking For

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Practical work experience within the real estate industry or a vendor management service company
  • Proven customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail to maintain quality standards
  • Proficiency with personal computers and software applications, particularly Excel
  • Working knowledge of real estate titles, deed preparation, and closing processes
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
