About the Role
The Cloud Developer position at RockX is a highly sought-after role that involves designing, building, and testing automated applications in a Cloud Native environment. What You Will Do
- Design, build, and test automated applications in a Cloud Native environment
- Build up CI/CD pipelines and effective monitoring systems to ensure smooth operation
- Create elegant automation tools using various tools and technologies
- Document the design, implementation, and other work-related tasks
- Collaborate with other engineers to provide secure and reliable services
- Work closely with the team to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions
- Develop and maintain automated testing scripts to ensure high-quality services
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to company standards
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in cloud computing
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or other relevant disciplines
- At least one year of experience as a Developer or Cloud Engineer
- Familiarity with any cloud provider, preferably AWS
- Experience with tools like AWS CLI, GitHub Action, Terraform, or other equivalents
- Strong foundation in computer science and programming languages like Golang or NodeJS
- Experience with Linux is a plus
- Knowledge of PoS-based blockchain protocols, such as ETH2.0, Substrate, or Cosmos, is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with containerization using Docker
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud computing
- Experience with blockchain development and decentralized applications
