Job Description
About the Role
As a Cloud DevOps Engineer at CommIT, you will play a pivotal role in building, automating, and securing the company's GCP-centric cloud platform. This is a fast-paced environment that requires close collaboration with development, security, and data teams. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the infrastructure is scalable, secure, and efficient, utilizing tools like Terraform for infrastructure as code and Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.The success of CommIT's cloud platform directly impacts its ability to deliver cutting-edge cloud investigation and automated incident response solutions. Therefore, your expertise in managing cloud infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring the security and compliance of the platform will be crucial.
What You Will Do
- Design, implement, and manage GCP infrastructure to support the company's cloud platform
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and other relevant tools
- Manage and maintain GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) clusters
- Author and manage DAGs (Directed Acyclic Graphs) in Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration
- Ensure the security and compliance of the cloud platform, including secrets management, RBAC, and audit logging
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure visibility into platform performance
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of applications into the cloud platform
- Develop scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate tasks and workflows
- Participate in on-call rotations for 24/7 support of the cloud platform
What We Are Looking For
- Strong, hands-on production experience with GCP
- Experience with GKE / Kubernetes in production environments
- Experience with Apache Airflow, including authoring DAGs and managing the platform
- At least 4 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles
- Proficiency in Terraform (IaC) and CI/CD tooling and best practices
- Experience with secrets management, RBAC, and audit logging
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- High level of English proficiency
Nice to Have
- Experience with Azure and/or AWS
- Knowledge of CloudFormation or Bicep
- Experience with other cloud security and compliance tools
