About the Role

The Cloud Engineer role at B3 Consulting Poland is a key position in the company's project portfolio, with a focus on building and managing cloud infrastructure across Azure, GCP, and AWS. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions for clients. You will work closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration of cloud services with existing applications and infrastructure.

The role entails collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, as well as developing and maintaining technical documentation. You will also be responsible for ensuring the security and compliance of cloud infrastructure, including identity and access management, data encryption, and network security.

What You Will Do

  • Design and implement cloud architectures on Azure, GCP, or AWS
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
  • Deploy and manage container orchestration environments using Kubernetes
  • Write scripts in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and glue code
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud services with existing applications
  • Ensure security and compliance of cloud infrastructure, including IAM, identity federation, and secrets management
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends

What We Are Looking For

  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (Azure, GCP, or AWS)
  • Practical experience with Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools
  • Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration environments
  • Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash
  • Familiarity with security and compliance principles, including IAM, identity federation, and secrets management
  • Strong understanding of cloud governance principles and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with multiple cloud providers (Azure, GCP, and AWS)
  • Certification in cloud engineering or a related field
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms and analytics services
