Job Description

About the Role

As a Cloud Networking Engineer at Bright Vision Technologies, you will play a critical role in designing and operating cloud networking architectures that enable the company's mission to transform business processes through technology. You will work closely with the engineering team to build and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient cloud networks that meet the company's growing needs. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include designing and implementing cloud networking architectures, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services.

The Cloud Networking Engineer role is a key part of the company's cloud infrastructure team, which is responsible for ensuring the security, reliability, and performance of the company's cloud-based systems. You will report to the Senior Cloud Engineer and work closely with other engineers, architects, and technical leads to design and implement cloud-based solutions that meet the company's business requirements.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a range of cloud technologies, including AWS, Azure, and GCP, and to develop your skills in cloud networking, security, and architecture. You will also have the chance to collaborate with other teams, such as development, operations, and security, to ensure that cloud services are integrated seamlessly into the company's overall technology stack.

What You Will Do

  • Design and operate cloud networking architectures, including VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, and security groups
  • Build transit hub topologies using AWS Transit Gateway, Azure Virtual WAN, or GCP Network Connectivity Center
  • Implement network security controls, including firewalls, NACLs, security groups, and DDoS protection
  • Troubleshoot complex cloud networking issues across cloud and hybrid environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services
  • Develop and maintain documentation of cloud networking architectures and designs
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for cloud-based systems
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud networking technologies and trends
  • Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline cloud networking tasks

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud networking, with a focus on AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Strong understanding of cloud networking fundamentals, including routing, switching, and security
  • Experience with cloud-based security controls, including firewalls, NACLs, and security groups
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions
  • Experience with automation tools, such as Ansible or Terraform
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Professional certifications in cloud networking, such as AWS Certified Network - Specialty or Azure Certified: Azure Network Engineer

  • Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as Kubernetes or Docker
  • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks
  • Experience with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL
