About the Role
As a Cloud Security Architect at AIS, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing secure cloud-based solutions for federal clients. Your expertise will be essential in conducting risk assessments, analyzing security requirements, and developing solutions that meet cloud network security requirements. You will work closely with a team of industry-leading experts in a collaborative and innovative environment that fosters growth and empowerment.The role entails working on complex projects, managing incidents, and conducting threat analyses. You will also have the opportunity to lead team projects, collaborate cross-functionally, and mentor junior team members. What You Will Do
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for application design for cloud-based solutions
- Analyze and define security requirements within a cloud environment
- Support developing solutions that meet cloud network security requirements along with integration and implementation of the network security solution
- Perform vulnerability/risk analyses of cloud infrastructure and tenant applications during all phases of the system development lifecycle
- Act as a technical point of escalation
- Lead team projects and collaborate cross-functionally
- Mentor junior team members and resolve conflicts
- Provide strategic consulting and lead improvement initiatives
- Recommend advanced technologies and manage vendor relationships
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years of relevant experience supporting enterprise cloud and/or infrastructure environments
- Certifications: IAT-2, 1 or more cloud certifications (can be obtained within 6 months of hire)
- Active Secret clearance
- Experience working in regulated environments and following secure engineering/documentation practices
- Strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Strong experience with SailPoint
- Coding experience with C#
- Angular experience
- API experience
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting DoD/IC programs and mission systems
- Knowledge of cloud security frameworks and compliance regulations
- Experience with cloud security automation tools
