About the Role

The Cloud Security Specialist role at Intrum is a critical position that requires a high level of expertise in managing IT security risk and developing security compliance programs. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for monitoring compliance with information security policies, legal and regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Your day-to-day tasks will include advising stakeholders on IT and information security risk and risk mitigation strategies, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the security of Intrum's cloud infrastructure.

What You Will Do

  • Monitor compliance with information security policies, legal and regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
  • Advise stakeholders on IT and information security risk and risk mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the security of Intrum's cloud infrastructure
  • Develop and implement security compliance programs
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability testing
  • Provide training and awareness programs for employees on cloud security best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud security
  • Participate in incident response and remediation efforts
  • Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure cloud security

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience supporting security compliance programs in the financial or tech industry
  • 5+ years of combined experience in a hands-on (Cloud) security or technology-related role
  • Demonstrable experience with one or more data security frameworks, regulatory standards, or legal requirements
  • Effective English communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Demonstrable leadership skills with experience working across various levels and different locations
  • Relevant certifications like CISSP, CCSP, or similar (or willing to obtain)
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

Nice to Have

  • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and Agile methodologies
  • Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems
