Job Description

About the Role

Cobalt is seeking a skilled pentester to join its community of security professionals, known as the Cobalt Core. This curated group is passionate about delivering quality work and staying current with the latest vulnerabilities and exploits.

Responsibilities

  • Perform manual penetration testing of web applications, APIs, internal and external networks, iOS and Android mobile applications
  • Collaborate with a pentest team, engaging directly with clients and documenting assessment results in detail
  • Conduct manual validation of vulnerabilities and perform mobile and web app pentesting for OWASP top 10 vulnerabilities

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4+ years of pentesting or similar experience (mid-level)
  • Professional demeanor, respectful towards others, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Deep understanding of application security and ability to communicate effectively

Nice to Have

  • Certifications such as CREST, PenTest+, GPEN, CEH, OSCP, AWS, CISSP, eCPPT, eWAPT, OSCE, OSWE
