About the Role

Empowerly is a rapidly growing education technology company that provides personalized college and career counseling. We are seeking a College Admissions Counselor to help high school students navigate the college admissions process.

Responsibilities

  • Create academic and extracurricular road maps for students
  • Provide college application structure and feedback
  • Assist with passion discovery and early career development

Requirements

  • Fluency in Mandarin is required
  • Experience as a college admissions counselor or former admissions officer at top colleges is preferred
  • Graduation from a top 50 college with a STEM background is preferred

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with students applying to top 50 colleges, including the UCs and Ivy League schools
  • Knowledge of specific graduate school admissions processes such as medical school, law school, MBA programs, PhD programs, and more
