Job Description

## About the Role As a Commercial Account Executive - Key Accounts, Nordics at Gitlab, you will be the primary point of contact between prospective and existing customers, managing a portfolio of key accounts in the Nordic region. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include building strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and working closely with the business development team and sales management to exceed client expectations. You will report to an Area Sales Manager and contribute to the growth and success of Gitlab's commercial named accounts. As a Commercial Account Executive, you will be expected to embody these values, leveraging AI to drive efficiency, and communicating effectively with clients to deliver exceptional results. ## What You Will Do - Manage a portfolio of key accounts in the Nordic region, building strong relationships with clients and identifying new business opportunities - Work closely with the business development team and sales management to exceed client expectations and drive revenue growth - Conduct root cause analyses on wins and losses, communicating lessons learned to the team - Take ownership of your book of business, documenting buying criteria, buying process, next steps, and owners - Ensure pipeline accuracy based on evidence and not hope - Contribute to documenting improvements in the sales handbook - Provide account leadership and direction in the pre- and post-sales process - Be the voice of the customer, contributing product ideas to the public issue tracker - Support Gitlab for commercial named accounts prospects, roughly 15 accounts - Leverage Adjust and Excel skills to analyze data and drive business decisions ## What We Are Looking For - A true desire to see customers benefit from the investment they make with you - Demonstrated progressive experience with software sales - Interest in Gitlab, open-source software, and DevSecOps - Ability to leverage established relationships and proven sales techniques for success - Effective communicator, strong interpersonal skills - Motivated, driven, and results-oriented - Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills - Proficiency in Swedish or Danish languages - Experience with Git, software development, and Adjust a plus ## Nice to Have - Experience with sales analytics tools and data analysis - Knowledge of the Nordic market and business landscape - Familiarity with DevSecOps and open-source software - Certification in sales or a related field ## Benefits and Perks - Competitive salary and benefits package - Opportunity to work with a leader in the DevSecOps industry - Collaborative and dynamic work environment - Professional development and growth opportunities - Flexible working hours and remote work arrangements - Access to the latest technology and tools - Recognition and reward for outstanding performance
