About the Role
The Commercial Collections Specialist role at PNC is a critical component of the company's Business Credit organization. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations workflow, assisting with transactions, and providing guidance to internal stakeholders. This role is ideally suited to individuals who are highly organized, possess strong analytical skills, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment.Day-to-day, you will be working closely with the team to monitor and coordinate the operations workflow, identifying and addressing exceptions, and serving as a point of escalation for complex issues. Your expertise will be leveraged to coach team members, provide applicable training, and lead team huddles and continuous improvement sessions. You will also be responsible for reviewing existing processes, recommending improvements, and assisting with implementation.

What You Will Do
- Oversee the operations workflow, monitoring and coordinating transactions and processes
- Assist team members with escalated issues, providing guidance and support as needed
- Process and reconcile transactions of varying risk and financial value in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Identify and address exceptions, serving as a point of escalation for complex issues
- Coach team members and provide applicable training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
- Lead team huddles and continuous improvement sessions to drive process enhancements and improve overall performance
- Review existing processes, recommend improvements, and assist with implementation
- Provide consultation and advice to internal and external customers, ensuring that their needs are met and expectations are exceeded
- Participate in and serve as a subject matter resource for projects, leveraging your expertise to drive business outcomes
- Review transactions and related documents, verifying work processes to ensure completeness, accuracy, and conformance to established service levels and applicable procedures
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of related experience in commercial collections or a similar field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop actionable insights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external customers
- Proficiency in MS Office, with strong Excel skills and the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote environment, with a strong focus on attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of commercial real estate, consumer lending, and credit risk management principles
- Experience with data analytics and decision-making, with the ability to leverage data to drive business outcomes
