About the Role
The Commercial Counsel role at Elevenlabs is a critical position that will support the company's growth and expansion in LATAM. As a key member of the Legal Team, you will be responsible for navigating complex commercial transactions, including SaaS, licensing, and strategic partnerships. You will work closely with global colleagues to provide practical, business-oriented advice that enables growth while managing risk across multiple jurisdictions.In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about driving innovation and excellence. What You Will Do
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, with a primary focus on GTM/Sales transactions in LATAM, including enterprise customer contracts
- Partner with sales, business development, and operations teams to design and implement strategies that support high-growth go-to-market initiatives
- Monitor and interpret evolving region-specific legal and regulatory developments, including data protection, technology, and AI-related frameworks, and apply this knowledge to contract drafting and risk assessment
- Develop, maintain, and localize contract templates, playbooks, and policies to reflect regional requirements and industry best practices
- Provide clear, pragmatic, and commercially focused legal advice to cross-functional teams, tailoring advice to enable responsible growth and innovation
- Contribute to scaling the commercial counsel function in LATAM
- Collaborate with global colleagues to share best practices and knowledge
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to drive growth and innovation
- Support the development of training programs for sales and business development teams
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as required
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in commercial law, preferably in a tech or AI-focused company
- Strong knowledge of GTM and Excel skills
- Experience with SaaS, licensing, and strategic partnerships
- Ability to navigate complex commercial transactions and provide practical, business-oriented advice
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage risk
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Experience working with global teams and managing multiple stakeholders

- Experience with AI and machine learning technologies
- Knowledge of data protection and technology regulations

- Certification in commercial law or a related field
