About the Role

The Commercial Education Manager role at Johnson & Johnson is a unique opportunity to join a leading healthcare company and contribute to the development of innovative training programs. As a key member of the US Commercial Education Team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing training for the clinical and sales organization, aligned with the global learning strategy and supporting the US region's business needs. This role is remotely located within the US, with travel to Irvine, California and other Johnson & Johnson Institutes for training.

The Commercial Education Team plays a critical role in elevating the proficiency of the internal clinical organization, ensuring that all learning content is current, copy-approved, and aligned with government and legal requirements. As the Commercial Education Manager, you will work closely with various functional partners, including Global Education, US Commercial Marketing, and Sales Leadership, to shape and deliver educational programs that meet the company's policies and strategies.

Johnson & Johnson's Neurovascular team is at the forefront of developing leading solutions for hemorrhagic and acute ischemic stroke. As a Commercial Education Manager, you will be part of a team that is reimagining how we heal and continually elevating standards of care for neurovascular stroke patients.

What You Will Do

  • Work with Global Education, US Commercial Marketing, and other functional partners to design and deliver educational programs that meet the company's policies and strategies
  • Apply adult learning principles and professional facilitation skills in all learning programs
  • Conduct learning in live, virtual, and self-guided formats
  • Ensure that all learning content is current, copy-approved, and aligned with government and legal requirements
  • Facilitate learning anatomy, procedures, complex clinical concepts, products, competitive technologies, and business practices related to clinical and commercial roles
  • Coordinate activities with Field Sales Training to support continuity for the learner
  • Participate in development activities to elevate capabilities and proficiencies in the Learning Professional Competency Model
  • Plan and execute Foundations Capstone and Preceptorships to further develop application of clinical knowledge and competitive technologies
  • Coach Field Sales Trainers, providing guidelines in best practices

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in education, training, or a related field
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering effective training programs
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and professional facilitation skills
  • Experience with Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as education, communications, or a life science

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in neurovascular or medical devices
  • Knowledge of sales training and sales enablement principles
  • Familiarity with learning management systems and other educational technologies
  • Certification in instructional design or a related field
