The Commissioning Lead plays a pivotal role in the successful execution of projects within the oil and gas sector. What You Will Do
- Oversee all aspects of commissioning and systems completion for oil and gas projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Manage and coordinate with multicultural project teams in remote and offshore locations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and clients.
- Analyze project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Provide guidance and support to staff and internal customers, acting as a source of expertise in commissioning and project management.
- Undertake complex tasks and resolve problems, escalating only the most critical issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and achievement of project goals.
- Develop and implement project management procedures and plans, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes.
- Utilize project management systems and tools to track progress, report on project status, and identify areas for improvement.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline.
- At least 8 years of experience in commissioning and/or systems completion within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong analytical, organizing, and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in leading and influencing multicultural teams.
- Proficiency in project management systems adapted to the oil and gas industry, such as Win PCS, PIMS, and ICAPS.
- Experience in managing SC databases and coordinating with multiple parties to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Ability to work independently within established procedures and contribute to the development of plans and budgets.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex tasks and guide staff and internal customers.
Nice to Have
- Experience in developing reports from various office tools and presenting findings to stakeholders.
- Knowledge of industry-specific software and technologies beyond the mentioned project management systems.
- Certification in project management, such as PMP or PRINCE2.
