Communications Manager

About the Role

As a key member of the CertiK team, the Communications Manager will work closely with global teams to ensure consistent messaging across markets. This role will also involve coordinating media briefings, interviews, and follow-ups, as well as tracking coverage performance and gathering qualitative journalist feedback.

What You Will Do

• Build and manage relationships with US-based tech, business, cybersecurity, and Web3 journalists
• Lead proactive pitching of company news, research reports, and data insights to key media outlets
• Develop timely commentary and expert positioning opportunities in breaking news cycles
• Coordinate media briefings, interviews, and follow-ups with key journalists and influencers
• Track coverage performance and gather qualitative journalist feedback to refine media relations strategies
• Support rapid-response communications during major hack incidents or market events
• Partner with global teams to ensure consistent messaging across markets
• Develop and implement a comprehensive media relations strategy to achieve business objectives
• Manage and maintain a database of media contacts and press coverage
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align media relations efforts with overall marketing strategies

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in tech PR, communications, or media relations
• Strong relationships with US-based tech, cybersecurity, business, or Web3 media
• Experience managing crisis communications or fast-moving news cycles
• Ability to translate complex technical security topics into clear and compelling narratives
• Experience working with cybersecurity, fintech, blockchain, or other emerging technology companies
• Familiarity with data-driven storytelling and research-based pitching
• Strong understanding of the tech industry and current trends

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Nice to Have

• Experience with media monitoring and analysis tools
• Familiarity with blockchain or cryptocurrency markets
• Knowledge of cybersecurity threats and trends
• Experience working with global teams and managing international media relations
• Certification in PR or communications
