About the Role

The Community Engagement Associate will play a crucial role in building and maintaining Jerry's online presence across key social media platforms, including Reddit, Quora, YouTube, and TikTok. As a representative of the company, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive community engagement strategy that drives brand awareness, builds trust, and fosters meaningful relationships with current and potential customers. You will work closely with the Growth and Content teams to ensure consistency across all channels and measure the success of your efforts through sentiment analysis, share of voice, referral traffic, and other key metrics.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media platforms, community building, and digital marketing. You will be a strategic operator who can build systems, not just vibes, and understand the importance of SEO and LLMs in citing sources. Your ability to make complex or stressful categories feel human, authentic, and worth following will be essential in this role.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive community engagement strategy across key social media platforms
  • Build and grow Jerry's organic presence on Reddit, Quora, YouTube, and TikTok
  • Create and curate high-quality content that resonates with target audiences and drives engagement
  • Engage with customers and respond to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with the Growth and Content teams to ensure consistency across all channels
  • Measure and analyze the success of community engagement efforts through sentiment analysis, share of voice, referral traffic, and other key metrics
  • Develop and maintain relationships with influencers, partners, and other stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platforms, and best practices
  • Provide feedback and insights to the team on community engagement and content strategy
  • Participate in brainstorms and idea generation sessions to develop new and innovative content ideas

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in community management or organic social media marketing
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Reddit, Quora, YouTube, and TikTok
  • Experience in fintech, insurtech, or another consumer-facing and/or regulated category
  • Proven ability to build and maintain online communities and drive engagement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with SEO and LLMs
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and practices
