About the Role
As a Community Manager at Manta Network, you will be the voice and face of the company in Korean-speaking communities, responsible for building, growing, and managing the local presence. This role entails designing and executing community engagement campaigns, moderating local community channels, and surfacing key insights to the global team. You will be working closely with the marketing and product teams to ensure a cohesive brand message and user experience.The Community Manager role is crucial in fostering a vibrant and loyal user base, acting as a bridge between the Korean community and the global team. What You Will Do
- Build and nurture the Korean-speaking community on platforms such as KakaoTalk, Naver Cafe, Twitter, Discord, and Telegram
- Design and execute community engagement campaigns to grow active user participation
- Moderate and manage local community channels, responding to user inquiries and surfacing key insights
- Translate and localize marketing materials, blog posts, newsletters, and announcements for the Korean market
- Adapt global campaigns and content to the Korean market in a culturally sensitive and compelling way
- Identify and empower local advocates, ambassadors, and content creators
- Gather feedback, suggestions, and sentiment from Korean users and relay it to product and marketing teams
- Collaborate with local projects, influencers, media, and event organizers to increase brand visibility
- Represent the company at online and offline events, meetups, and AMAs in Korea
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in community management, marketing, or growth roles in Web3, crypto, or tech startups
- Proven experience managing Korean communities
- Native Korean and fluent English communication skills
- Deep understanding of Korean crypto culture, platforms, memes, and influencers
- Familiarity with using Discord, Telegram, Notion, Twitter, and analytics tools
- Comfortable working remotely and independently in a fast-paced, global environment
- Genuine interest and participation in Web3, NFTs, DeFi, or DAOs
- Strong communication and project management skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with community growth and engagement strategies
- Knowledge of Korean social media platforms and trends
- Familiarity with crypto and Web3 technologies
