## About the Role As a Compliance Analyst I at Affirm, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's comprehensive Financial Crimes Compliance program. This program aims to make consumer finance more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without hidden fees or compounding interest. Your day-to-day tasks will involve following company policies and standards to determine non-compliant or potentially suspicious activities and taking appropriate action. The Compliance Analyst I role is part of a dynamic team that is committed to innovation and consumer-centric approach. You will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams across the organization, staying up-to-date on current industry standards and regulatory requirements. With a strong focus on collaboration and communication, this role requires exceptional judgment, organizational, and analytical skills. ## What You Will Do - Follow company policies and standards to determine non-compliant or potentially suspicious activities and take appropriate action - Work in a fast-paced environment, investigating alerts while maintaining high-quality standards - Undertake ad-hoc project work and Financial Crime program enhancements - Collaborate with the Financial Crimes team to stay updated on industry standards and regulatory requirements - Work closely with cross-functional teams across the organization - Develop and maintain strong working knowledge of analytical tools, such as Excel and visualization software - Collaborate with business partners to communicate complex regulations and provide guidance - Stay up-to-date with current industry standards and regulatory requirements, including BSA/AML and Sanctions Program requirements - Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge - Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements ## What We Are Looking For - 3+ years of professional work experience in BSA/AML, Sanctions, or KYC, with financial services company experience preferred - Exceptional judgment, organizational, and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail - Excellent verbal and written communication abilities - Strong working knowledge of analytical tools, such as Snowflake, Excel, and visualization software - Strong understanding of BSA/AML and Sanctions Program requirements - Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with business partners and communicate complex regulations - Passion for technology, consumer finance, and improving consumer credit products - Industry certifications, such as CAMS, CFE, or CIA, are preferred but not required ## Nice to Have - Experience with machine learning or data science concepts - Knowledge of cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Google Cloud - Familiarity with agile development methodologies - Experience with project management tools, such as Asana or Trello ## Benefits and Perks - Competitive base pay, with a range of 149,000 zł - 179,000 zł per year - Equity rewards offered by Affirm Holdings, Inc.
