About the Role
Affirm is seeking a Compliance Analyst I to support its comprehensive Financial Crimes Compliance program. The company is committed to reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without hidden fees or compounding interest.Responsibilities
- Follow company policies to determine if activities or transactions are non-compliant/potentially suspicious and action as appropriate
- Investigate alerts in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
- Undertake ad project work and Financial Crime program enhancements
- Work closely with the Financial Crimes team to stay up to date on current industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional work experience in BSA/AML, Sanctions, or KYC experience preferred
- Exceptional judgment, organizational, and analytical skills
- Strong working knowledge of analytical tools like Excel
- Strong understanding of BSA/AML and Sanctions Program requirements
Nice to Have
- Industry certifications (e.g., CAMS, CFE, CIA)
