Compliance Engineer - EU

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop technical documentation, build compliance tooling, and shape the company's go-to-market story for regulated sectors.

What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain technical compliance documentation that meets enterprise standards
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and legal teams to embed compliance into product development
• Build and maintain compliance-as-code tooling to automate regulatory processes
• Support enterprise sales by responding to security questionnaires and customer compliance queries
• Conduct gap analyses, risk assessments, and audit support for ISO 27001, ISO 42001, and other relevant standards
• Develop and implement compliance training programs for employees
• Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and update compliance strategies accordingly
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement compliance policies and procedures
• Provide compliance expertise to support business growth and expansion

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience working with EU regulatory frameworks, including GDPR, EU AI Act, and DORA
• Hands-on experience with ISO 27001, ISO 42001, or other relevant standards
• Ability to produce clear, precise technical compliance documentation
• Strong understanding of compliance principles and regulatory requirements
• Experience building or maintaining compliance-as-code tooling
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience supporting enterprise sales and responding to customer compliance queries

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a similar role in the tech industry
• Knowledge of AI and machine learning technologies
• Certification in compliance or a related field
• Experience working with compliance management software
