What You Will Do
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports to FINTRAC, including Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) and other required filings
- Conduct and own AML reviews, investigations, and determinations, ensuring timely and high-quality outputs
- Perform transaction monitoring, support escalation, and reporting workflows
- Maintain clear documentation and audit trails for all reporting and investigative activities
- Develop and implement processes to ensure compliance with new and existing regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks
- Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and external auditors
- Provide training and guidance to other team members on compliance-related matters
- Participate in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in a compliance role, preferably in the financial services or fintech industry
- Strong knowledge of Canadian financial regulations, including AML and anti-terrorist financing laws
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with regulatory reporting and compliance software
- Certification in a compliance-related field, such as CCEP or CCO, is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects

- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Familiarity with agile project management methodologies and version control systems
- Knowledge of cloud-based compliance management systems and software
- Certification in a related field, such as accounting or finance
