What You Will Do

• Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts, including EPC, design-build, subcontractor agreements, and consultancy agreements
• Advise stakeholders on construction-related claims, change orders, delay disputes, and termination issues
• Assist with project risk assessment and risk mitigation strategies throughout the construction lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with relevant federal, state, and local construction regulations and licensing requirements
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, procurement, and external counsel as needed
• Support dispute resolution, including litigation or arbitration proceedings when necessary
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing expert legal advice and guidance
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments, trends, and best practices in construction law
• Contribute to the development of construction contracts, policies, and procedures
• Provide training and guidance to junior team members as needed

What We Are Looking For

• Undergraduate degree in Law; Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Construction Lawyer
• Experience working with APAC-based clients or projects is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of construction law and industry practices
• Solid understanding of standard construction contracts, including AS 4000, D&C, EPC, and bespoke agreements
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
• Experience advising on large-scale infrastructure or commercial projects

Nice to Have

• Experience working with Excel and other project management tools
• Certification in construction law or a related field
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
