About the Role

The Consumer Product Marketing Lead plays a critical role in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for Link, Stripe's digital wallet. As a key member of the Product Marketing team, you will work closely with cross-functional partners to drive adoption, loyalty, and growth. This role sits at the center of Stripe's consumer ambitions, requiring a deep understanding of the digital payments landscape and the ability to translate product innovations into compelling narratives.

As Consumer Product Marketing Lead, you will own the go-to-market strategy and positioning for Link, working to bring the next hundreds of millions of shoppers into the network. This involves defining Link's consumer positioning and messaging, leading go-to-market for product launches, and shaping the product roadmap. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include partnering with Brand Marketing, driving consumer research and insights, and defining and tracking consumer growth metrics.

The Product Marketing team at Stripe is highly cross-functional, partnering closely with Product and Engineering, Sales, Partnerships, Demand Generation, and Campaigns. As a Consumer Product Marketing Lead, you will influence senior leadership, communicating product strategy, consumer insights, and marketing results clearly and persuasively.

What You Will Do

  • Define Link's consumer positioning and messaging, developing a consistent and compelling story across every touchpoint
  • Lead go-to-market for product launches, owning the end-to-end GTM strategy for new Link features and consumer experiences
  • Shape the product roadmap, synthesizing qualitative insights, quantitative research, and competitive intelligence to influence feature prioritization and roadmap strategy
  • Partner with Brand Marketing, ensuring brand campaigns are grounded in product truths and that high-impact brand moments connect back to measurable product outcomes
  • Drive consumer research and insights, commissioning and synthesizing user research, behavioral analytics, and market data to develop a deep understanding of Link's target personas
  • Define and track consumer growth metrics, setting KPIs across the consumer marketing funnel and owning regular reporting
  • Influence senior leadership, communicating product strategy, consumer insights, and marketing results clearly and persuasively
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Product and Engineering, Sales, and Partnerships
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, driving growth and adoption of Link

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in consumer product marketing, preferably in fintech, payments, or consumer tech
  • Strong track record of building go-to-market strategies for high-scale B2C products
  • Expertise in GTM, Excel, and data analysis
  • Ability to synthesize research, competitive signals, and market trends to inform product strategy
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills, with experience working with cross-functional partners
  • Ability to drive consumer research and insights, developing a deep understanding of target personas
  • Experience defining and tracking consumer growth metrics, with a focus on data-driven decision making
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership
