About the Role

The Content Marketing Lead role at Klaviyo is a unique opportunity to own the strategy, development, production, and performance of global campaign, demand generation, and thought leadership content. This role sits at the intersection of storytelling, pipeline generation, and editorial operations, requiring a professional who can balance creative vision with data-driven insights. As a Content Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing a cohesive content strategy that supports segment and regional go-to-market goals.

The ideal candidate will have experience in building and operating AI-assisted editorial production systems, including vibe coding workflows in tools like Claude Code or Claude CoWork. This expertise will be crucial in helping Klaviyo modernize its content creation processes, improving speed, consistency, and scalability. The role will involve close collaboration with various teams, including product marketing, PR, brand, sales, regional marketing, events, customer marketing, and external agencies.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute a global content strategy spanning campaign, demand generation, and thought leadership
  • Build content that reinforces Klaviyo’s market narrative while supporting segment and regional go-to-market goals
  • Identify the most important themes, formats, and storylines to drive engagement, leads, pipeline influence, and brand credibility
  • Translate complex product, market, and customer insights into clear, differentiated content for multiple audiences
  • Own the development of high-impact content assets, including ebooks, white papers, research reports, comparison guides, one-pagers, webinars, landing pages, executive thought leadership, customer stories, video, and audio
  • Create content that supports the full buyer journey, from awareness and education through consideration and conversion
  • Repurpose research, events, webinars, and customer narratives into multi-format content programs that extend reach and value
  • Ensure every asset meets Klaviyo’s editorial standards for quality, accuracy, tone, and narrative consistency
  • Design, test, and improve AI-assisted editorial workflows that increase content production efficiency and effectiveness
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to turn complex ideas into high-impact content programs that resonate globally

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in content marketing, preferably in a lead role with a focus on campaign development, demand generation, and thought leadership
  • Hands-on experience building or operating AI-assisted editorial production systems, including vibe coding workflows
  • Strong understanding of content strategy, creation, and distribution across various formats and channels
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, sales, and external agencies
  • Proven track record of creating high-impact content that drives engagement, leads, and brand credibility
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling content
  • Experience with content management systems and AI-assisted content tools
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to measure and report on content performance

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AirOps or similar content operation platforms
  • Knowledge of Klaviyo’s marketing automation platform and its applications in content marketing
  • Background in journalism, communications, or a related field
  • Certification in content marketing or a related field
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders
