About the Role
Lokal, a innovative digital platform, is seeking a skilled Content Quality Reviewer to join their team. As a reviewer, you will be responsible for watching short video lessons created for UPSC and State PSC aspirants and providing feedback on their factual accuracy and comprehension quality. Your input will be instrumental in ensuring that the content is engaging, informative, and accessible to learners. The role of a Content Quality Reviewer is vital in maintaining the high standards of educational content on Lokal's platform. - Watch assigned videos (2-5 minutes each) and fill out a structured review scorecard
- Fact-check key graphics and claims against standard sources (NCERTs, PIB, official reports, the Constitution, etc.)
- Flag outdated information, schemes renamed, data revised, amendments passed
- Rate comprehension quality, considering factors like explanation clarity, pacing, and term usage
- Note specific timestamps when you find an issue and report it
- Complete each scorecard within 24 hours of assignment
- Collaborate with the content team to improve the overall quality of the video lessons
- Provide constructive feedback to help creators refine their content
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and changes in the UPSC and State PSC syllabus
What We Are Looking For
- Currently preparing for UPSC CSE or any State PSC exam, or have done so in the last 3 years
- Strong foundation in GS fundamentals: History, Polity, Geography, Economy, Environment
- Ability to distinguish between factual errors and framing choices
- Comfortable writing structured, specific feedback
- Access to a smartphone or laptop and reliable internet
- Expert-level proficiency in Hindi and English
- Familiarity with standard sources like NCERTs, PIB, and official reports
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
- Cleared UPSC/State PSC Prelims
- Knowledge of one of the South Indian languages
- Experience in content creation or review
- Familiarity with online learning platforms and digital education tools
