About the Role
As a Continuous Improvement Specialist at InProduction, you will play a vital role in driving the company's continuous improvement culture. Your primary focus will be on identifying areas for process improvements, documenting best practices, and supporting the training of Lean and Continuous Improvement principles. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze operational processes, develop process standards, and implement changes that enhance efficiency and quality.InProduction has evolved into the largest provider of temporary seating, staging, structures, and scenic production for the United States events industry. The company's growth is attributed to its strategic acquisitions and commitment to excellence. As a Continuous Improvement Specialist, you will be part of a team that values safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with various departments to identify opportunities for improvement, documenting process standards, and maintaining process documentation templates. You will also participate in Kaizen events, which are designed to drive process improvements and promote a culture of continuous learning.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to identify opportunities for process improvements
- Develop and maintain process standards, including Standard Work Instructions and Value Stream Maps
- Participate in Kaizen events to drive process improvements and promote a culture of continuous learning
- Analyze operational and financial data to set process metrics and track progress
- Support the development of quarterly continuous improvement objectives and lean events
- Lead and support Continuous Improvement projects to drive operational improvements
- Assist in facilitating and participating in Kaizen events to drive process standards and improvements
- Maintain process documentation templates, Standard Work Instructions, and Process Documentation Repository System
- Support Internal audits to ensure process compliance
- Teach and coach Lean Principles to cross-functional teams

- Ability to influence process changes in a cross-functional team setting
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office 365 Suite, including Visio
- Comfortable participating in and/or facilitating Kaizen events
- Experience with process documentation and maintenance
Nice to Have
- Experience with project management tools and software
- Knowledge of event production and staging
- Familiarity with operational excellence principles
- Certification in Lean or Six Sigma
